Welcome to November! There is so much going on this month. Time changes, election day, basketball and football, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving (United States), World Peace Day, Diabetes Month, National Healthy Skin Month…and on and on. This is a busy time of year, with school, family, holidays, and the continuation of everyday life activities. So much to do, so little time. In spite of the busy-ness, it is important to continue to live a healthy lifestyle.
I am a fan of North American “gridiron” football. Football season is well underway, and this month we have the Gridiron Challenge! The challenge will be about building strength, power, and endurance. In addition, we will be focusing on how to eat more healthily during the football and holiday season, spending quality time with loved ones, and taking good care of yourself. With good nutrition to fuel the body, challenging workouts, quality time with loved ones, and taking good care of yourself, this month will be full of action and information.
